European Week for Waste Reduction

The European Week for Waste Reduction works with the waste hierarchy. During this week we promote and encourage everyone to REDUCE consumption, REUSE products, and materials, and RECYCLE waste. As part of this campaign schools within our region will be collecting used clothes in cardboard containers. These boxes are being used to collect clothes that will be sustainably managed as part of the Southern Regional Council’s European Week for Waste Reduction Campaign. The clothes will be distributed to local NGOs where they will be managed accordingly. More information can be found here:
