We invite you to join us for our upcoming event, Sports u Mobilità, presented in collaboration with the Marsa Local Council. This event will take place on Sunday, October 15th from 09:00-13:00, at Triq Dom Mintoff in Marsa, celebrating the town as a hub of sports and mobility.
Local organisations specialising in sports and mobility will participate in this family-friendly event for everyone to enjoy. These include the Old Motors Club, as well as the Police Cavalry section, the Malta Equidrome and MOVE, who will organise traditional games such as Capture the Flag, Boċċi, Erba’ Kantunieri and more.
MOVE will also lead the “Cycle for Trees” initiative, where the distance cycled will contribute to planting trees on the island. We encourage attendees to bring their bikes and join us in supporting this environmental cause.
For those that aren’t too comfortable with cycling just yet, we will be teaching both children and adults how to ride a bicycle.
We’ll have even more activities related to sports, bringing in Special Olympics athletes to participate in the event. We’re also going to be holding modern games, and exciting activities!
